Remove dog fur from your car with 4 easy tips

Remove dog fur from your car with 4 easy tips

Our dogs are an important part of the family and we take them with us when we go out to the beach, to the park or just for a drive. But our furry friends are just that and as any pet owner knows getting dog fur out of the inside of the car can be a big headache! While a useful tool indoors, unfortunately lint rollers tend to be far less effective in the car.

Some handy tips include:

  • blow up a balloon and make some static. Static electricity attracts dog fur.
  • lightly spray your upholstery with water, wear a rubber glove and then brush it with your hand. The fur should collect on your fingertips.
  • spraying the upholstery with a mixture of fabric softener and water loosens the hair and makes it come off more easily.
  • more small stubborn areas wrap duct tape around your hands (sticky side out), press firmly then remove.
